I do plan on attending the next book signing (June is a quite busy month for me but I would love to attend). I had, however, some difficulty, printing the ticket to size. But I will get back to you soon on that at one of the email addresses. Thanks.

I hope that I am enjoying life as much when I reach the age of wisdom such as they have. I started laughing in the beginning of the book and could not stop until I finished it. A wonderful story in which I could envision everything that occurred. Thank you so much, Mr. Rhodes for the laughter, truly food for the soul!!!!

Comments:I really enjoyed reading ‘The Meeting Place’. The author’s ability to describe the characters, their surroundings and their interactions gave me the ability to visualize everything very vividly and this makes for great storytelling. The separate tales of three women and their interesting lives combined with the tale of their interactions together late in life provide the reader with sadness and laughter. This is a good book to read if you have trouble finishing a book because the author ensures you will not lose interest and there is a great twist in the end that I certainly didn’t see coming.

Does Melvin know you wrote a book about him? He is truly a piece of work, and I think I’ve seen him on the Metro. Serialization of Discontent was like being on a suspenseful roller coaster ride and it took everything in me to keep from looking at the back of the book to find out “who done it”. I was totally captivated and completely surprised by the ending!! God has truly blessed you with many gifts! Thanks for sharing some of your gifts with us and I know you will be successful in all that you do!

A Flaming Rose was very funny, full of suspense, and an easy read. Your new book is nothing like I expected. I thought that it was a continuation of A Flaming Rose! To my surprise it was very different and down right excellent! I began reading it and became angry when I found out that it wasn't the sequel then got even angrier when I couldn't figure out who was behind the murders. This book too, although different (and not the sequel that I am waiting for) was an outstanding read. Again, JOB WELL DONE!!! Angry Reader (but devoted fan)

She kept laughing and wiping her eyes so I thought that it must be pretty funny. I finally asked her what she was reading. She gave me the name of the book. She wasn't sure where I could get it as it was passed over to her by a friend, but your email address was penciled on the back page. I wrote it down and I was able to purchase the book. I started reading it the same day that I had received it. Let me first say that I am an avid reader. I read constantly (at least 3 books per week). I have to say, your book has been added to my "favorite books to read" list. It was one of the funniest books that I have ever read. Each page was full of excitement and comedy. Comments:You are truly an inspiration. Your humor, wit, and stupidity has now been put in print for all to read (and it's great). I am so proud and if Mama could read your book she would be very proud. I think I'll let her read my copy. I love you, baby brother, God has blessed you with many talents, keep using them.

Comments:Very proud of YOU. I read the book in the dark by flashlight for three hours. I thought I had to go to the S&R for more batteries. I laughed so hard the lights came on. I know your Dad is smiling upon another success. I love you and can't wait for the next book.
